UniGroup Receives Bronze in EcoVadis Survey for Second Consecutive Year

ST. LOUIS (Oct. 10, 2023) – UniGroup, the parent company of United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, was recently awarded for the second consecutive year a bronze sustainability rating from EcoVadis, a global sustainability rating provider. EcoVadis is a trusted partner of business sustainability ratings and has been utilized by a network of more than 90,000 rated companies. It is the world’s largest provider of ratings in environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. 

The continued emphasis on environmental, social and ethical performance has stood in the forefront of UniGroup’s network to help reshape how they impact the communities they serve. “We understand our position as a leader in the transportation industry creates unique opportunities to make an impact,” UniGroup President and CEO Jason Mills said. “Although we are pleased with our rating and progress, we are committed to improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of the communities we operate in and serve.”

UniGroup’s bronze rating places the organization among the top 50% of companies assessed. From 2022, UniGroup saw rising scores in categories like Ethics and Sustainability. One of the significant benefits of the EcoVadis assessment is the improvement report and reformatory plan it provides so companies, like UniGroup, can continue to build on its sustainability efforts.
