Paul Corrigan of Corrigan Moving Systems Honored with UniGroup’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award

Farmington Hills, Michigan — (Nov. 11, 2024) — UniGroup, parent company of Mayflower Transit and United Van Lines, named Paul Corrigan of Corrigan Moving Systems the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. The award recognizes individuals who have shown unwavering dedication and extensive leadership within UniGroup and the moving and storage industry.  

Corrigan was born into the moving industry. His father Frank Corrigan started the business Corrigan Moving Systems in 1929 in Dearborn, Michigan. Although Corrigan had dreams of attending college, he quickly took over the family business and proved to be a gifted leader.  

Throughout his tenure, he held multiple positions on United Van Lines’ board of directors, including chairman. In total Corrigan served on the board of directors for 28 years. Additionally, he also served as director of United Van Lines Canada.  

UniGroup Board Chair Gary Quintalino and Vice Chair of the Board Bryan Oler presented the award at UniGroup’s annual shareholder meeting.

Paul’s son David Corrigan accepted the award on Paul’s behalf. When he shared the news with his father, Paul reflected and said, “I was quite honored when I heard the news that I had received the UniGroup Lifetime Achievement Award. This award means a lot to me. I put my heart and soul into making United successful. I am proud to have contributed to United’s growth over the years.”
